Management will tell you something to get you motivated but then never follow up with it. There is a complete lack of transparency and the management have their favorites who can do what they want while the others get treated differently and barely get acknowledged.
HR claim to care a lot about culture and doing the right thing but that was not evident.
There is a huge amount of turnover, in just a few months more than half of the team left the business. Management barely acknowledged or explained why this was the case and what was being done to resolve this issue.
There is a lack of support and you're left to figure everything out on your own. Autonomy is great but support is always going to be needed. Management make themselves readily available for certain people and not for others. Senior management seem confused about where they want to go and what the overall business strategy is.
You're allowed to work from home 2 days a week but you will be judged for doing so, even though there has been a pandemic for the past 2 years.
Everyone has to be located in NYC and be in the office 3 days a week unless you're management which is counterintuitive.
