Pros

I got to see and learn the whole process of making a product, as well as got to work on an internal product that allowed interns to get their hands on under seniors supervision. That's a good thing. They prioritize work life balance, I mean, it's true. No one bothers you after work (at least to my experience).

Cons

A lot of bad things here: - The compensation for interns is terrible, as they are expected to work full time with 100AUD compensation/month. Imagine, I had to balance the internship and study, so I only did part time, and only got paid a fraction of that 100AUD. - NO INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT OR CONTRACT, and then, NO NDA. Technically speaking, neither the company nor yourself is protected. They could take away your compensation, and also you can leak their information because you have no legal binding with them (of course I don't recommend anyone to do so). - No senior mentoring. Yes, you can ask people around and they would definitely help if they could. But, as an intern, you are assigned to a senior one. My senior did the bare minimum, and I had to turn to a mid-junior one to ask about anything (luckily, that person was so helpful). The only time we got to review my whole performance was on my last day (I worked there for 6 months). - You might feel excluded as an intern. To my experience, I didn't feel like I am included in the working process. They asked me to join and worked on the same file with them, but then my whole work got excluded from everyone else (they literally put my work aside). My work might not have been perfect, but they just excluded without telling me where the flaws were, so that I could learn and fix it. - Terrible company process: from operation to HR executives. Yes, the company operation is a pain. When I was there, the team kept filing complaints due to lack of resources all the time but the company did nothing. As the result, almost the whole team quit after I left just a few weeks. The HR "department" did not have any check out process for an intern. - No future for your career path. You won't see your future here as an intern, or a junior. - After I did the internship there, I see why the median tenure is below 1 year, and the turn over rate is extremely high. It seems like people only join the company as a "stop" as they go out to look for a better opportunity.

Pros

The organization has built a very inclusive and welcoming work environment. The gender ratio is well-balanced, which reflects positively on the company’s commitment to equality. It’s great to see strong representation of both female and male employees across teams and roles. Diversity here is truly exceptional—not just in terms of gender, but also backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. The company actively fosters an environment where everyone feels respected and heard. People are open-minded, collaborative, and supportive, which makes day-to-day work enjoyable. Overall, the culture promotes fairness, inclusivity, and a genuine sense of belonging, making it a great place to work.

Cons

No major concerns when it comes to culture and diversity.
