It is important to understand that Silman does NOT play favorites. We have a very intensive review program and promotions and bonuses are based on performance, not favoritism. As far as dogs in the office, our founder believed in this and brought HIS dog to the office for many years as I do myself. Dogs are known to relieve stress and they are a welcome addition to most progressive offices. Socializing is also an important part of the workplace and we encourage people to spend time interacting with others. Our philosophy of "freedom with responsibility" is one of the values we cherish. We expect people to perform at their highest level, interjecting these short breaks throughout the day. Assuming you are still with the firm, we hope you have found things to improve greatly for you.
