Pros

I do not have any pros except for a few people I worked with.

Cons

They do not care about people. Assets are their main focus and they will step on employees and customers to get there. Other employees will talk down to you and belittle you. Upper management does not care what you are going through or help you assist your customers. Simmons makes it extremely hard to help customers and in my time with the company, I did not talk to 1 customer who liked banking there. If you are going through a merger, they will lie to your face about what to expect and what will happen. Do not believe them.

Pros

Small enough company that you can talk to leadership and voices matter. Culture used to be great. Lots of middle management understands the obstacles employees face and fights for the better.

Cons

The entire company is centered around Arkansas/Little Rock/Pine Bluff. There are other markets with massive opportunity that are always getting ignored. Everything is looked at through the lens of how things are done, ran, budgeted, ect in LR. Lots of recent change has caused a lot of bankers to leave and start looking for jobs elsewhere because they’re tired of lack of leadership.
