Pros

Working at this fast-paced company has been an exhilarating experience filled with exciting projects that constantly challenge and inspire me. The environment here fosters personal growth and professional development, pushing me to exceed my own limits. What truly sets this company apart is the unique accessibility to leadership, where open communication channels allow for direct interaction with decision-makers, creating a sense of unity and purpose throughout the organization. If you're seeking a dynamic workplace that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement, this is a place to work.

Cons

While it's true that this company pushes hard and demands a lot from its employees, I don't necessarily see it as a con. Some Glassdoor reviews might highlight this as a negative aspect, but I believe it's essential for personal and professional growth. This company is not for those seeking a cushy or easy job, but if you're looking to be challenged and constantly improve, it's an ideal fit. So, the perceived cons here really depend on your perspective and career goals.

Pros

This was a very hands on company that allowed you to get heavily involved on projects right away. This allows for early contributions to the company and a lot of learning.

Cons

It is extremely fast moving. This can be a pro for some, but can be a con for others. Just something to keep in mind. I enjoyed the pace.

Pros

Good location/close to restaurants A paycheck

Cons

Expect to get paid at least 20% below market value. Overworked and expected to take on others work with no extra pay. Oftentimes it’s work that isn’t even the responsibility of the person taking it on. No company vision. Frequent changes in management, with no actual changes. CEO is unreasonable and has a record of yelling at employees, cursing, and slamming items around when angry. Company values are not followed. Raises are extremely low/infrequent. Typical wealthy CEO/poorly paid employees. Bad PTO policy - it takes over a month to accrue one day of PTO. Inflexible WFH policy - 1 day a week if you’re lucky, but the CEO and upper management makes you and management paranoid for discipline if that or more days are taken. General company morale is low - because of all of the reasons above, I do not believe most people want to be working at SimonCRE. No in-house HR. They quit a year ago, and have since been replace with an outside HR… twice. Unprofessional emailing - the CEO and other higher ups are frequently misspelling words, or just responding with “ok”. Or the CEO clearly doesn’t even read the emails sent to him, and responds with questions that are covered in the email. It makes it nearly impossible to convey or communicate effectively.
