Pros

No pros, they are a leech on society

Cons

They treat patients and employees alike like actual garbage and prioritize profits over quality care/experiences. For example they have ran over 2 hours behind many times a week due to the factors that are in their control. They constantly cut hours, deny lunch breaks, overwork their employees, and short staff on purpose because they don’t want to hire more people/schedule more people to work and are unable to retain staff due to the poor working conditions. They also unevenly pay their staff which is not based in reality (someone such as myself with experience was not paid a fair wage and was actually paid less than other front desk most likely due to me being trans). They (managers, administration, etc) also constantly misgendered me all while basically telling me to be grateful for the crumbs they gave me (8 hours a week split between two days). They then cut my hours to basically nothing. They expect you to work off the clock (take phone calls related to work such as discussing patients). On the patient side of things, patients are constantly frustrated due to sometimes running over 2 hours behind, and the managers and administration doing nothing but overbooking, laughing and gossiping in their office. Additionally the manager Tanya allowed a patient to record in the office for a YouTube video which definitely violates the other patients and employees right to privacy. Also their machines are constantly breaking, and their billing system is wack.

Pros

Supportive team environment with meaningful projects and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in healthcare marketing. Interns are trusted with real responsibilities and receive valuable exposure to branding, communications, and business operations.

Cons

Because the company is growing rapidly, there is always something new to learn and adapt to, which can create a fast-paced environment for interns.

Pros

I've been with SimonMed for almost four years and have had the opportunity to see the organization evolve significantly during that time. The company has embraced a forward-thinking approach, with a strong focus on innovation, technology, and long-term growth. Recent leadership changes have brought fresh energy, clear direction, and meaningful investments in both operational improvements and the employee experience. It's encouraging to work for an organization that is actively investing in new technology, modernizing processes, strengthening its brand, and positioning itself for the future. There are opportunities to contribute ideas, take on new challenges, and be part of meaningful initiatives that impact the business while providing exceptional care to our patients.

Cons

As with any growing organization, change can happen quickly and adapting to new processes takes time. Continued communication during periods of growth and transformation is always beneficial.
