Pros

* New technologies and new approaches of doing things, while it pushes you out of your comfort zone it's an amazing learning experience. * All the clients that come in are really nice, and are all very interesting in some way or other, Simpleweb does a really good job of picking its clients. * Lots of product ownership, you're well involved in discussions with client and planning out product direction and how it's achieved. * Tend to follow best practices, unit testing, feature testing, all code is fully reviewed by a peer, etc * Agile-ish, some clients have a timeline, but we take a fairly agile approach with how we plan things out and execute - daily standups, generally weekly planning meetings. * Super friendly environment. * Strict no overtime policy to ensure work-life balance. * Free homecooked lunches. * Nights out once or twice a month (pre-covid).

Cons

* Client budgets can be tight, sometimes corners have to be cut in order to make it within budget. This is generally things that don't make an impact to an end product (less test coverage, maybe other shortcuts)

Pros

Healthy lunches provided daily, easy going team mates, small budget provided for learning/ conferences, salary seems to be in line with average for entry-mid level

Cons

Hodge podge of poorly organised projects and interference from founder has led to unhappy customers - staff also poorly managed/ supported leading to high stress and lost potential. Not a lot of room for career progression. Salary increases are rare.
