Pros
They were pretty good at answering the office phones at the Norwalk location. Whenever I had any questions or needed anything from the office staff they were super helpful. They called me the morning after submitting my application and got me started the next day at one of their locations. They work with a few places in LA county and as far as the office staff go, I have no complaints. The agency overall is pretty good, few complaints except things pertaining to my specific on site manager but that was outside of the agency as a whole. Pay could definitely be better for their warehouse positions as it is manual labor but when your in need of any source of income ASAP like I was, it pays the bills. The weekly pay is a plus especially after being unemployed for any period of time. You just have to wait that much less for your first Paycheck.
Cons
As far as the agency as a whole goes, I don’t have many complaints. However, my specific on site manager at one of their Santa Fe springs locations was a different story. Every Friday was payday. Other on site managers for other agencies would wait in the break room during the shifts lunch break to hand out checks to the employees who didn’t have direct deposit, but that wasn’t the case with her, she would wait until the end of the day and when it came time for us to clock out and go home, she was never anywhere to be found. Me and other employees would end up standing around waiting for her to come back to her office at the warehouse to give us our checks. If she left early for the day or simply didn’t come that day, it would be up to us to go to our assigned main office location to pick up our checks. She was pretty unreliable. I submitted my direct deposit form and it took her 2 weeks just to submit it because “she forgot to do it” and then it took another 2 weeks to get it processed and receive my first direct deposit check. She definitely showed lots of favoritism between the employees she over saw. I actually ended up filing a 7page discrimination complaint against her and the company at the warehouse I was assigned to and I was never contacted by her or HR to discuss the matter. She was overall a very unprofessional on site manager in my opinion.
