Pros
Simplus is a insanely successful consulting group that I expect to continue to be among the top destinations for SFDC consultants for years to come. The coworkers are smart, caring, with a diverse set of backgrounds that add up to something special. Having a largely remote workforce is very difficult, but there is a lot of effort made to try and keep everyone connected. Growth and transparency are core tenants of the leadership team and they do an unusually good job balancing those needs. While this won't be a company everyone will enjoy working for, I firmly believe that this is the best employer in the world for certain personalities.
Cons
These are issues I personally have had. Most of my coworkers have the opposite experience, so I truly believe this is a reflection of ME and NOT Simplus as a whole. I have struggled a lot at Simplus. I don't like the model of running 6-8 projects simultaneously, and it has left me in a constant state of stress. Because of the stress and high number of projects, this is the worst work-life balance I've had at any SFDC position in 9 years experience. There is a nested pro in here- as all my managers and teammates have made every possible effort to try and make the model work for me. But it's just a square peg in a round hole type of situation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone with previous consulting experience, but might advise that if you come from a Solution Architect/leadership role at an end user you really dig into what your daily life will look like before switching to Simplus. But for bootcampers/BAs/experienced consultants, unequivocal recommendation.
