Pros

People, "One" Team Environment, supportive leadership, good benefits, learning opportunities

Cons

Could have more off-site all company meetings. Currently there are a few per year. I would enjoy getting together more with work-remote becoming the norm.

Pros

- Remote Work - Some colleagues are exceptional, if you actually get the opportunity to interact.

Cons

- The blame culture that was advertised in reviews going back 6 years is still highly prevalent, accountability means next to nothing to management. Expect the VPs to look out for each other but no one else. - Lack of Leadership capabilities in management (specifically VPs) - Advertises work life balance during interviews but does not apply it into practice (expect to work 60+ hours a week regardless of salary and they expect absolute availability on the weekends when needed). - Completely disjointed from being an "IQVIA" company. They even avoid integration into IQVIA unless they have capabilities that make it easier on Simpson. Management directs staff to avoid any and all IQVIA meetings unless absolutely necessary. - Four rounds of interviews that are disconnected. Some are with Simpson and some are with IQVIA. They obviously do not communicate how these should be integrated. Its also clear that leadership at IQVIA has no idea what is actually going on at Simpson in order to clearly speak to the role requirements. - Everyone is overworked but especially certain department heads (Medical, Editorial, Creative). They have some great people in every department but you rarely get to know each other based on the expectations of the work. - Outdated processes that have not changed it seems since the company was much smaller. They are still using processes that were effective for teams of 3-5 to manage multiple departments simultaneously. This is one of the greatest contributors to the high stress level across the company. - Complete lack of emotional intelligence at the top.
