      The lateral staff is good.

      Cons

      EVERYTHING is political within the office. It's definitely a game of favorites on if you're going to get promotions, launch ideas, and/or be heard. It's not just at the station level, it's corporate as well. There have been reports of discrimination of various types and it IS something I have dealt with.

      Pros

      Flexibility with my schedule to be able to take and pick up my kids from school. Great team to work with at my location. Ability to train and do jobs outside of my regular task to get hands on experience in other areas.

      Department was restructured and my position was relocated.

      Job can be fun depending on if you're a natural performer. You gather valuable experience interviewing others.

      Cons

      Terrible pay and culture. They will likely not pay you commission for anything you sell so do not take that on. Focus on your primary job.
