Pros

You can advance in job title (but not pay)

Cons

With the business decisions made, I would be surprised if this organization still existed in a year. Check out their financial. It would be your worst mistake to work here. A few notes: - the CEO is a nightmare incapable of properly managing a team, fundraising, or strategizing on building a mission based vision. He is known to stir up petty fights between team members, harass staff outside or work hours, infantilize staff in the office, mislead staff and potential employees on compensation etc - Earned PTO is generous, however, you will be discouraged from taking it, made to justify your reason for it and made to feel like you must be available to work if you do take it, and are required to use language that communicates you are “asking not telling” - there are no boundaries for your personal life or health - many staff members experience hospital stays and stress related health problems - payroll is constantly in question due to lack of funds - has at least once been delayed - office building rent is routinely late - grants are mismanaged - per diem checks for staff members have bounced - zero transparency - poor decision making that prevents staff from operation efficiently - there is one person in each dept tasked with doing the work of 3 people - staff members are not given the tools needed to do their jobs and requested to figure it out anyway - staff is severely underpaid (40k range) - interns are asked to submit positive reviews on here to trick potential employees, positive reviews are absolutely fake - no room for growth as each dept has only one person - staff is constantly subjected to dishonest, manipulative, bully leadership tactics by CEO Roger Mark De Souza
