Pros

Coming from a toxic company to working here was a breath of fresh air. Employees value the company and are ready to work and do a good job. Everybody is pleasant to work with. Company gives you the right tools you need to complete tasks. Company will have cook outs for employees and a once a year company summer picnic where they’ll invite employees and their families. Overall good atmosphere to work in.

Cons

Like in any company there are small issues you will come up with. Management can be better prepared and have executed better.

Pros

Owner is caring and friendly, easy to talk to at anytime. The crew workers are awesome and great to be around every day. Crews work extremely hard at what they do and you can see the care that they put into their work. Accounting department very nice and friendly. Company holiday celebrations are nice with this company, they go out of their way to make them nice for all employees.

Cons

Safety is not number one at this company. They operate equipment illegally and unsafely. They excpect the equipment to get to job sites no matter what the condition of the trailers and disregard weight limits. They put production before safety. There is no type of employee training or safety meetings on any level, employee recognition is after you do 5 years and that's just a hand out at the morning work assignment meeting...nothing special. You will get fired if people don't like you or the way you work (even if you out work the others) It's all about if you're family or your family has money to stay hired in a staff or supervisor position Superintendents are not open to change or suggestions...they are not open for changes within their sections even if it would make it more productive. Superintendents do not preplan anything, it is always shoot from the hip the morning of, which resulted in crews having to load or unload trucks in 30 minutes or less or having to change trucks.
