The North Korea of companies - Customer Success Manager SiteMax Systems Employee Review

Pros

At the start, was great - gave you perks, healthcare etc. Nothing other than that, unfortunately.

Cons

The CEO is an egomaniac who only wants good feedback, when you tell him there’s a fault he gets moody and won’t talk to you. They only want to hear good things, when things go wrong they take it out on their employees. Not a company worth working for, especially when they force you to work weekends without pay, after challenging this, I was silenced.

Pros

You get what you put in so if you want to grind, this is the place for you. Is it sustainable? Unsure. Good direct managers who will help you if needed.

Cons

Terrible leadership and management. The CEO's ego often comes in the way of any conversation and any criticism is taken personally by him. All fluff, no real value in any of the speeches and promises he makes to the employees. Once he has been called out, he will stop showing up/responding to you. Delay in commission and bonus payouts. No HR to keep track of your commission either. Grind culture. Pressured to work overtime and weekends with no positive reinforcements or acknowledgement. Read other reviews on this company before you accept an offer. I didn't take them seriously and now I regret not taking them into consideration before accepting the offer and wasting my time here. The product is broken. Needs a lot of improvement. Can't always tell us to use a workaround.

Pros

There used to be fun colleagues and they all left

Cons

Honestly, it’s a deeply toxic environment led by the most unprofessional people I’ve ever encountered. No one really listens to each other, and most people seem more focused on appearing productive than actually doing meaningful work. They stay in their safe zone, collect a paycheck, and avoid taking any real initiative. Everything revolves around feeding the CEO’s ego, while he shows little to no respect for anyone in the company, but can't apply any real action. At times, it honestly feels like the only thing happening here is money being drained from investors, while everything else is just for show. At this point, I don’t think anything can fix the constant negativity and emotional exhaustion this place creates. My advice: don’t come work here. And if you already do, leave as soon as you can. SiteMax makes any motivation to achieve something feel completely pointless.
