Pros

In general, it is a smaller team, but the dynamic feels healthy where I feel I can raise my ideas and concerns, and can get feedback. As this it's a product company, working on a single, large product means you get to touch multiple aspects of it, which works well for me. Additionally, while small, the standards that are pushed seem to go in modern direction, which again, works for me as a person who likes to pushes for quality processes, as a QA.

Cons

All the good things mentioned above have other side of the coin, which might not be for some, which is understandable. For example - being part of a smaller team means you need to adapt to changes and accept that not every idea put on the table have the time to be done.

Pros

The pros of working as a babysitter are many, you get to spend time with kids which is always great. You get to create new connections with families and potentially even lifelong friendships. Having patience is a must when dealing with children, as well as quick problem solving skills, which in turns helps prepare for other jobs!

Cons

The cons of this job can be the uncomfortable hours, or sometimes finding families that you don't really get along with, so it is harder to establish a rapport with. This makes the job less of a fun opportunity and more of a weight, which in turn takes all the fun out of it.

Pros

The company is getting you a laptop, but they're kind of doing you a favor and want you to use a second-hand one. They provide lunch, but it's just a simple sandwich, and honestly, you'll need to buy something extra with your own money because it's not enough to fill you up.

Cons

Unfriendly colleagues, with too much favoritism towards the company's senior staff. No freedom, Small office far away from your city, The technical knowledge is very low, there's no organization or planning, and the work strategy is constantly changing. The company has major financial issues, which is why most employees are cheap and remote, making team interactions difficult. Your colleagues often respond to emails and messages with hours or even days of delay. Your direct manager has no understanding of how hard your job is and never helps you. There's no team-building, and frequent jealousy between colleagues, which is really frustrating.
