Pros

Great place if you are looking for a challenging environment where you can learn a lot and accelerate your career growth. You are immediately given responsibility and increasing levels of freedom as you take the business and client campaigns to the next level — you are empowered regardless of how much experience you have. You learn more in 3-months at Six Spoke than many learn in a year or more at other places. As you prove yourself, you are allowed more and more flexibility, from the work location of your choice (some Six Spokers work at one of the offices, others from home, and still others from coffee shops), flexibility in your hours, and flexibility in your assignments and role. This flexibility enables you to live your life, while working hard. Annual company offsites (team trips) are in unique destinations and offer a time to vision-cast with the CEO, plan for the upcoming year, and operationalize internal items. It’s also a great time to hang out with co-workers, who often become close friends.

Cons

Not the right place for anyone who is just looking for a 9-5 job. Also not a good fit if you learn best in a structured environment. Six Spoke tends to expect a lot without the same degree of training and guidance you might get elsewhere. You must be comfortable working by the principle 'learning by doing’, leveraging SOPs and training videos rather than 1:1 training and relish tackling unfamiliar assignments for the first time. You will be challenged daily to learn new tasks and problem solve on your own. During key client deliverables, hours can be long, so be prepared to truly live by the saying ‘work hard, play hard’.
