Pros
Very good benefits, even better people. Top to bottom, Skanska (civil) probably has the best construction minds in the industry. They have some great development programs (if they think you're good enough for them) and tend to avoid layoffs even through difficult financial times. Very financially stable company.
Cons
The company in the US struggles to adapt to its Scandinavian parent company's culture. Corporate says they offer flexible working arrangements, but individual offices heavily discourage it. The last two Civil Presidents (Mike Cobelli, Rich Cavallaro) were fantastic leaders and let go after a couple megaprojects went badly.
