Pros

- Management leaves you alone. - the work is easy (when you have some)

Cons

The company is falling apart. New leadership last year has been making drastic changes. They halved my team, we dont have any work consistently assigned to us and since were paid hourly, most of us have had to go on partial unemployment just to make ends meet. In our last meeting we were told that we should be cross training as project managers (but they won't pay for that) and that we should be replaced with AI soon. Pay is crazy low for industry standard. If you are reading this thinking about joining the company, run. They will not value you, they will threaten your job, they will expect you to sit at your computer "on-call" all day and not pay you for that time.

Pros

- Health-care that covers therapy that you will need during your employment - Remote work allows for discreet employee managed work life balance

Cons

- Poor communication, it was possible for me to go weeks without talking to anyone - Changes to processes were frequently made without notifying the teams they affected - Poor onboarding - No consistent or effective processes - Was never clear of other teams, their members and their roles, other teams never clear on what my role was - When concerns are brought up to management, they are dismissed - Very inconsistent workload, either overworked or have no work for weeks at a time, with no allowance for down time tasks - Canceled any virtual social work events we had that helped boost morale and keep employees connected with each other - No performance reviews or constructive criticism of any kind - No place for growth in my position, despite seeking for ways to improve my role - No bonuses - No consistent raises, even cost of living despite repeatedly boasting publicly about the financial success of the company - Favors AI over real human work when trying to take dense subject matter and make it engaging and memorable for their clients target audience
