Visibility on Slack is the only tool you need to be recognized, to appear as if you're working, and to be rewarded. Especially if your opinions are expressed in a complex and convoluted manner, you have a higher chance of being perceived as important and “informed” about the product. Stay away from this company, decline and lack of vision prevail. The upper and middle management are completely disconnected from the actual market and the sellers. There is no clear career path, and HR is completely absent, even in cases where they have been informed of behavior bordering on bullying by managers and team leaders toward their direct reports. Promotion and raise criteria are based solely on how well someone advertises their work on Slack, the only tool upper management seems to seriously monitor. It doesn’t matter if someone has a good relationship with their portfolio , if they’re not vocal, there will be no raise or promotion. Slack is also used to shift blame from one person to another. Stay away , an extremely toxic and decaying environment.
