Pros
I've worked at quite a few start-ups and this place is a dream. Intellectually open and honest engineering. A realistic understanding of having to wear many hats, juggling multiple important projects, and occasionally something gets dropped or broken. I did have the idea in mind that "it is a start-up, so you need to be ready to work" before I joined. I have not been disappointed. We work hard and we have fun along the way.
Incredible sense of team - team results is what matters and we all pull together to get it done. People truly care about each other here. Love it!
The four founders have all been through this successfully multiple times before. They took the best things that worked in the past and implemented them here.
Many seasoned experience team members with multiple hires one or two years out of college. This is a great place for someone early in their career - lots to learn, and a lot of smart people to learn it from.
Cons
The cons are probably most of the standard start-up cons; lots to do, not enough time to do it in. Will the company "make it"? Work/life balance.
Salary/Stock compensation is tilted towards stock, I took a pay-cut to come here.
