Pros
-Fantastic leadership team within Skyward that does their best to advocate for you and encourage personal growth.
-Autonomy and trust you'll get done what you need to with space to innovate and bring in new ideas.
-Good work life balance and flexibility to leave for personal appointments, care for children, and attend professional development events.
-Encouragement from leadership to improve processes and openly bring problems and solutions to their attention.
-Fun company culture and amazing co-workers who know how to get sh*t done.
-Verizon offers a good benefits package with funding for career development.
I see some earlier reviews on here about Skyward's CEO. In early 2018, Mariah Scott took over as Skyward's President and she has brought refinement and additional excellence to the role. She is highly transparent, has an open door policy, believes in her employees, volunteers with local women's groups, and continues to look for ways to bring Skyward the recognition it deserves. She is open to considering everyone's ideas, consults with her leadership team regularly, and provides mentorship where she can. Mariah is even more impressive around the office than when she's speaking on stage at CES in front of thousands of people with Verizon's CEO.
Cons
-Like all Fortune 500 and large corporations, there are sometimes lengthy or involved processes associated with anything financial or legal. Skyward's leadership team does its best to advocate for work arounds and exceptions when possible.
