Pros
Relaxed atmosphere. Opportunities for engineers to contribute to significant revenue-generating projects. Good benefits, opportunities for training. Salary seems competitive, bonuses for senior engineers / management. Technical ladder allows for advancement for engineers without entering management track, though "Technical Director" (at the top of the technical ladder) seems to be a pseudonym for "Engineering Manager." Fairly flat company - most engineers are within 4-5 levels of heirarchy from CEO. Nice company size - large enough to afford equipment, training, small enough to allow significant contribution and feedback from management.
Cons
Most senior engineering experience is with GaAs / PCB design, so mentoring in other areas (i.e. silicon, systems, radio design) is hard to come by at the Boston design center. Easily pigeon-holed into certain technologies which make significant revenue for company, but provide little breadth in technical experience (i.e. Power Amplifier, RF Switch).
