I was fired exactly a week after being hired with no reason given, just a shrug and told “this is just how it’s going to be.” I was lied to about pay. I was told pay started at $45k a year, with overtime, it would be $52k/$1000 a week. I got my pay check and my rate was $18.00 an hour, which is pretty damn far off from $45k base salary. I was then brushed off when I called about it.
