Pros
- The longer you stick around the more you'll have the ear of those that matter, although in reality we have their ear much more than we think, you really can make an appointment with the CEO, or even just grab him (when he's around). - Fun and hard working group, technology department has good leadership. - More and more happy hours, though not scheduled with enough time for all to commit. Getting there though! - If expectations are spelled out things operate well. - New breed of leadership is truly defining a new culture, for some it has been bad for others welcomed, it depends on if you're a process and methodical person or a "Just get it done" person, the latter find frustration with newer leadership.
Cons
- Some departments treat recognition well others don't and it seems there's no executive level promotion to make recognition the norm. - Sometimes expectations are not communicated for servicing clients, this causes frustration and management/execs sometimes create the feeling of "just do whatever work it takes to do it..." feels a bit abusive to some, at least those that don't know how to speak up and clearly communicate.
