Flexibility to teach in your own style. Management is easy to get in touch with and supportive. After the first month, pay is on time. Gets you experience in a school system.

First paycheck can be delayed. Unpaid training, meetings, and fingerprinting. Training is paid at the end of a one-year contract, but not many make it that far. It's part-time work, with no benefits.

They give tutors flexibility to teach as they see fit. All the tutors I have worked with are competent and care about the students--good colleagues. They try to pay earlier than promised. The folks in the office are friendly and helpful.

Somewhat disorganized. Pay is less than some other companies. They try to spend the least amount possible on everything--to the point of being tacky. Many of their tutors are driving 20 minutes or more each way to work one hour per day. Tutors pay out of pocket for background check, mileage to the office for necessary trips, copies (unless they drive to the office). No pay for training or orientation and tutors pay their own social security and medicare.
