Pros

The company sounds too good to be true but it really is that good and that true! Because we're a small business, we all work really hard, but we have the ability to work most of our hours from home, which mitigates that. The CEO is completely open door - we don't have to go to our manager who goes to her manager who goes to the CEO. We can go straight to him with anything we need. We have regular in-person meetings so we get to know our teammates, and we have company events that are purely social to allow us to get to know everyone else in the company. It's really a great place to be. The company lives by its Vision and Values, and I'm proud to be an employee.

Cons

There are some definite growing pains, but the company acknowledges them and takes steps to remedy them. Most small businesses don't even survive these growing pains, so most employees have been willing to tough it out with SmartBooks, myself included. I think it will be worth it!

Thanks for your review. We are thrilled to have happy employees, and it definitely shows in the work we do for our clients. Our CEO is really plugged into both the business of SmartBooks, and the people (employees and clients). Thanks for hanging on through the growing pains, and please continue to share your feedback. We want to hear your ideas.
