Pros

Dress down Friday Can listen to music while working

Cons

No progression unless you were really chummy with higher management Did offer flexible hours which was good for parents with child minders but that was taken away for absolutely no reason Mandatory "fun" events during your unpaid lunch break Constant drama and cliques Over heard alot of homophobic/Racist/Classist discussions and nothing was ever addressed Bullying and mockery was constant especially towards people on the spectrum SM of staff was known to shout at grown adults calling them stupid or telling them to "shut the f*ck up" Gossip was prevelant even with higher members of staff if you spoke in confidence to anyone by the end of the day the entire office would know Other departments and SM wouldn't acknowledge your existence Under performing co-workers wouldn't be monitored but made you pick up the slack and the blame was given to all even when you're exceeding daily targets Monotonous brain dead work - Constantly doing the same thing day in and day out with no changes or incentives SM would start rewards, schemes, incentives for hard workers but quickly forgot about them after a month or two

Pros

The support offered to help you succeed is amazing, there is a genuine appetite to see team members grow, and this is something I have personally experienced throughout my career at Smart Parking, and witnessed several others benefit from, hard work truly is valued and rewarded

Cons

Nowhere is perfect, but it would be hard to say there are any cons to working for Smart Parking, the industry can be an emotive place to work, but I think that is down to each individuals attitude and outlook in dealing with the day to day challenges that the parking sector can offer, from my experience Smart Parking has always been supportive in ensuring I have the tools to succeed and tackle everything head on in a positive manner with the customer journey at the core of our objectives.
