I have been debating if I was going to write this review for Smoochie Pooch, but it has come time. I worked here for about five months, and I witnessed some horrific things. You will get very little training and management. The job itself, the pay, or a majority of the customers you will interact with is not the issue. The issue is the couple running the business. I was physically touched by my boss for appearing "sleepy". I was told I was "weird but not in a good way". You will constantly be cursed at, belittled, verbally abused, and feel awful about yourself. My coworker was locked in the bathroom by our boss because it was "humorous". There is no HR when the owner of the company IS everything. One is worse than the other, but the pair of them make themselves out to be gods. Also, please do your research and check his criminal record before you introduce yourself. After I was terminated, I was denied proof of my termination in order to apply for unemployment and food stamps because I didn't deserve those rights. If you want to work here, be aware you won't be treated like a human.
