Pros

-50% off smoothies for employees -brainless work -it smells good inside of the shop

Cons

I submitted an application through Indeed at this location and talked to the manager directly, only to have them admit that they lost my paperwork twice before finally getting hired. This was over the course of two weeks. After one day of training I was left alone in the store by myself to manage the cash register, smoothies, and dishes. The manager had a group chat where they would frequently berate the employees and at one point even threatened to take the wages from the employees to compensate for broken equipment. Despite them saying they needed extra workers, they kept cutting labor hours for everyone. One of my coworkers stayed in the back on their phone in a video call with their boyfriend, and treated me horribly the whole shift, and I had to manage the whole front of the store myself. I spilled one smoothie as a result, and the manager just believed my coworker instead of checking the security footage that clearly showed what happened. Instead of stringing me along for two weeks, for labor hours they didn't need, they should have just politely rejected my application. Also there were fruit flies everywhere, all the time!

Pros

Great support network, leadership teams at support center are always available to answer questions.

Cons

One challenge was the hiring process. At times, filling key positions could be difficult due to lengthy approval processes and multiple layers of review, which occasionally slowed the ability to staff stores as quickly as business needs required. Streamlining hiring decisions and giving field leaders more flexibility to recruit and onboard talent would help improve operational efficiency and support growth.
