Pros

- Free Lunch and Snacks. - Co founders are really good. - Nice problems to solve. But, there is a catch in the company in this regard. The entire tech stack and the solutions have a lot of Jugaad. With simple steps, there entire servers go down in a second. They do not care about the international standards made for everyone.

Cons

- The company used to be very good back near 2016. There used to be nice workplace, lots of mind boggling events used to happen, fun / social activities, team outing at least twice a year. Over time, they are now nothing to boast about. Team outing has been 0. If you put your head against this wall for a month, you get a budget of 500 per person and that to for a half day only. - Pathetic HR and their policy. They release pay slip when your next month's salary is about to be credited. That is, they release pay slip in a months time. - For 2 years, they have released form 16 2/3 days before the deadline assigned by the Government. 2017 was even worse. They released wrong form and that too digitally unsigned, which is mandatory for any company to do. Upon checking and multiple followup mails and phone calls, from almost all the tax paying employees, they released fresh ones on the extended dates after July 31st. - They have a consultant HR in this company who keeps on pressurising everyone to come before 10 AM and work beyond 9 PM at least and threatens the salary will be cut otherwise. And they have eventually started cutting down the salary from the last quarter of 2017. - He is trying to make policies, like this: "If it is about work, you should know, this is a startup and a very small team. You need to work day and night. In all other cases, this is a MNC. You should have some manners." - So much of micro - management and mis - trust. - Every weekend, you will get to work. They say, you must take a day off if you have worked on weekend. And when you will ask manager for leave, he will say, he is working, and so you must also be working. This is a full and proper imbalance on work life and personal life. - When someone is hired, this is a culture in this company which they call honeymoon period. And no one will interact with you in this period. Especially the managers, they will behave like a new alien has come. You will have a solidity life. And this period goes on like 45 days approximately. - Very biased leads and managers. - Managers keep on shouting as if employees are slaves. - Few managers (few who are from US), makes a lot of personal comments. Which is very pathetic from a professional perspective. - Very dirty workplace. Rats keep on moving every where. You need to depend on your own cleaning of cubicle desk before you start in the morning. - Recently, they have fired almost 31 people in a month's time citing various reasons. Though it was very clear to everyone, that the projects are now nearly ready and need just the supports, and that they now need a limited head counts for there new office space. - The hike in the company has also worsened, from the range of 40% to the range of 5-9%.

Pros

I worked as a Business Development and Marketing Intern with Edulastic over the past 5-6 months. Regarding company culture, the team at Edulastic is easy to work with – everyone is approachable, open to answering questions, and contribute to coworkers' tasks when workloads get full. Furthermore, (and perhaps most critical to the quality of my experience as an intern) I was able to lead different projects I took a particular interest in, such as helping to recruit and follow up with educators for the Edulastic Innovator Team. I would recommend this internship to anyone looking to learn from a variety of projects or interested in opportunities to take initiative with growing specific career skills - I myself was able to foster many skills, including writing customer development emails, developing relationships with different educators throughout the country, and researching leads to contact for our internal database.

Cons

Could use a little more structure for intern payroll system.
