Pros
Great people, some cool tech, veryyyy relaxed environment
Cons
Many staff have been there since leaving school, with some now in their 40's/50's or older. While that isn't really a con it does mean there is little experience of life outside of Quantel which leads to a very slow paced way of working, again this isn't really a negative if you like doing as little as possible. I was surprised the company lasted so long haemorrhaging money on non productive staff selling/supporting buggy products. There was also very little direction in terms of company vision and it felt as though many departments were often doing their own thing and the after sales support teams were often left to pick up the pieces of poorly designed products.
