      Pay is ridiculously high for public sector

      The worst place I have ever worked. Clique-y, double standards, lots of gossip, all the employees seem to feel they are pitted against each other and have to tear each other down, there is no sense of teamwork, every day there feels extremely tense and uncomfortable.

      Employees and Managers are very supportive and are open to suggestions. This helped me to learn many things throughout the experience

      Competitive pay, government job, elected officals are personable.

      Cons

      Mismanaged, unaware of departmental capabilities, confrontation is passive aggressive. Racial descrimination. 11 years spent on the same project wasting tax payer resources.
