Pros
No company is perfect. This company is the best of the Sempra family of companies, and beats most other companies hands down. Lots of freedom to provide input and make decisions that move projects forward. Leadership places a lot of trust in employees to "do the right thing." Your work is not micromanaged. Company provides lost of training to develop and retain employees.
Cons
Some employees never had a "real career job" before coming to SoCalGas. These employees have no prospective and do not know how fortunate they are to be working for a great company. Some of them complain but they do not know what they are talking about. The work/life balance needs work. Working a lot of hours is routine.
