Pros
Family-oriented, flexible, great opportunities for personal development, and surrounded by wonderful people. Also, great benefits, including paid family leave, fertility support, and 401k/pension. Diversity and inclusion efforts have increased dramatically in the past several years, which is appreciated.
Cons
We often go through periods of time where it is hard to find people to fill vacant positions (or get approval to fill vacant positions) which puts pressure on the rest of the team left picking up the extra work. But the brightside is that we don't go through periods where we are over-staffed and risk layoffs.
