Pros

paid for healthcare, summer fridays, WFH

Cons

theres a lack of direction here and poor business decisions being made that are going to prevent this company from growing into the powerhouse it thinks it can become. its 2 steps forward & 3 steps back at every turn. pay used to be competitive,, but has slipped far behind. went through a big round of layoffs only to hire back the same amount of people they laidoff months before (replacing 10 familiar faces w/ 10 fresh faces is some really tough cultural whiplash). the people are nice enough && the WFH benefits are good, but all the time off leadership takes would probably be better used at conferences to grow the business instead of luxury vacations

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this feedback - it’s meaningful to us, especially coming from someone currently on the team. We also want to remind you and anyone else on our team that there are multiple ways to share feedback with us, including our anonymous comment box, direct conversations with your manager, connecting with your co-founders, or reaching out to the People Operations team at any time. We’re glad to hear that you’re enjoying some of the benefits like fully paid healthcare, Summer Fridays, and remote work, and we appreciate your honesty around the challenges. We hear your concerns about clarity and direction. It’s something we’re actively working on, particularly through our recent adoption of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), which is designed to help bring more alignment, transparency, and structure to our goals, decisions, and day-to-day operations. We know we’re not there yet, but we’re committed to building a business that feels stable, thoughtful, and forward-moving to everyone who’s part of it. Regarding pay and recent hiring decisions, we recognize that those can feel frustrating and disjointed. Layoffs are never easy, and we understand how re-hiring in the wake of that can cause cultural whiplash. The decisions we made were guided by financial planning, role clarity, and long-term priorities, but we know the human impact of those moves is real, and we don’t take that lightly. The hiring that took place post-layoffs was in response to large new business opportunities that came onto our radar unexpectedly - our business rebounded faster than we could have anticipated. While it may have looked like a one-to-one replacement, these decisions were tied to shifting needs and growth that we couldn’t have fully accounted for during the layoffs. As for your thoughts on leadership presence, we want to assure you that we care deeply about the long-term health of the company, and the founders and leadership team continue to prioritize learning and development, including working closely with our business coach and external advisors. That said, we appreciate the nudge to stay focused on strategy and growth. Thank you again for being candid and for contributing to our progress. We know trust and momentum are earned, not given, and we’re working hard to earn both.

Pros

Autonomy - You are given a lot of autonomy on your accounts. There is little oversight, so you can run an account and bring many ideas to the forefront. People - The people at the agency are amazing - everyone is extremely kind, welcoming, and warm. Everyone is also willing to help at all times and you can really lean on people for support here. Benefits - The benefits here are great. Unlimited PTO, Summer Fridays, remote work environment, company retreats, and GREAT healthcare. Resources - Leadership is always looking for ways to help reduce time on tasks and automate them. One example being the use of AI, as well as reporting/analytics.

Cons

It's an agency, there are going to be ebbs and flows of hectic periods. The work can be daunting at times, but makes it a lot more management with the support of your teams.
