Pros
+Decent work/life balance when they aren't changing schedules + 15 minute breaks and hour long lunches are nice, you often can take your lunch as well + Sometimes super slow and easy + Promote from within, and quickly if you happen to like it there
Cons
-Not much communication from management -Laughably bad wages for IT, and additional duties outside that scope. -Nonexistent training, it always changes. -Overall toxic, negative atmosphere in office. Makes it very hard to have good morale. -Dealing with angry customers on the regular. -Really bad management overall, very unorganized. You're expected to be on your top behavior but you also have to constantly wait for someone so you can do the rest of the jobs. -Non-transferrable skills. Ticketing system is internal proprietary software that does not function well and has unique quirks. You spend more time figuring out how things work at Socket than you do learning essential IT skills you can transfer to other jobs. One of the worst offenses in my opinion. -Nepotism
