My experience at Soffit Infrastructure Services has been positive overall, mainly due to the strong support structure and balanced work environment. As an onsite L2 engineer working at a client location, most of my day-to-day work environment and infrastructure exposure come from the client side. However, Soffit ensures that backend operations such as payroll, escalation handling, and administrative support are well managed. Salary processing has been consistent, and escalation support is responsive when issues are raised. One of the key strengths is the availability of higher-level (L3) support. There is always 24/7 support available for critical issues, which helps reduce pressure on L2 engineers and ensures smooth resolution of complex problems. Additionally, weekly training sessions are conducted, which help in improving technical skills and staying updated with new concepts. In terms of work-life balance, the structure is reasonable. Since the role is client-facing, workload may vary depending on the client environment, but overall, it remains manageable with proper support from Soffit. Overall, Soffit provides a stable working environment with good support systems, especially for engineers working onsite, backed by continuous learning opportunities and reliable escalation management.
