Cons
- Lack of steady work - High turnover. - The company lacks a positive culture. During my time at Softlanding, I witnessed bullying of a staff member with severe allergies, racial/gender/religious based jokes, and preferential treatment given to certain members of the staff. - The owner is unable to separate business from his personal feelings and is extremely paranoid. As a result petty and unprofessional behaviour can occur when staff leave. This includes openly slandering former employees in all staff meetings, blaming former staff members for problems they didn't cause and instructing current employees not to associate with former employees. At one point a group of former employees was labelled as a virus with mental illness - enough said. - Certain members of management have no problem calling your CURRENT employer for a reference without your permission. If you are currently employed and don't want your employer to know you are looking - beware
