Pros
Access to training and documentation is great. Senior management is very professional and direct which I appreciate. Great opportunity to work on different projects and learn new things - certainly reduces the boredom associated with non consulting jobs. If you want to go in another direction, you are able to make that happen for yourself.
Cons
Starting salaries can be low so be sure and get the money up front. This is a consulitng firm so you must pilot your own career - no one will do this for you. In upper levels, they do expect you to help sell so this will keep me from pursuing a promotion. They have had to make some difficult decisions concerning layoffs recently - never an easy thing to do and the process will always make someone unhappy. Main thing to remember is this is primarily a sales organization and is run as one. If you are not comfortable with expanding your skills to get on a gig then you will not be comfortable here.
