Pros

- This is an in-between culture for someone ready to give up corporate life but needing something not quite as chaotic as a small startup. - Most people at the entry and lower levels are friendly and collaborative. - This is a decent place for inexperienced people in need of a stepping stone and I would recommend it to anyone who isn't picky. It isn't really horrific; anybody giving this place a 1-star review has probably never worked at a truly abusive or toxic place. - People Ops tries very hard to make it a better place and they truly listen to you, even if change is slow/impossible.

Cons

- Objectively, this is not a 5-star place to work and I'm not sure why any genuine reviewer would give it 5 stars as morale is generally low and turnover is higher than anywhere I have ever worked. - The promotions that are given/not given are mind-boggling. The nepotism is strong here. - There is a culture of coming to work sick and spreading infection since we don't get paid sick days off. - No flexibility to work from home infrequently as needed. Face time is extremely important here. - Conservative military culture. CEO is ex-military, and has never done anything else. His inexperience burdens everyone working for him. His personality is arrogant, judgemental and rude. - For a startup, the environment is uptight. - Warning to potential candidates: There is severe internal pressure to write positive glassdoor reviews.
