Pros
This company used to have a strong foundation and a clear vision, making it a good place to work.
Cons
Addressing some of the concerns raised by my colleagues in their reviews, it's important to shed light on the company's less appealing side, which starts at the top with the CEO. One major issue is the CEO's tendency to hire friends from their previous company, essentially transforming the company into a social welfare network for their close circle. When financial pressures arise, and cost-cutting measures become necessary to boost cash flow, employees from various departments are laid off, except for the CEO's friends, who seem to enjoy immunity. An instance of the CEO's hypocrisy is evident during an all-hands meeting when he praised the Database team's exceptional performance, only to dismantle the team and lay off several employees in the very next meeting. Furthermore, any remaining valuable projects were reassigned to the CEO's friends, enabling him to take credit for their success while displacing more employees.
