Pros

- Benefits were decent - Pay was decent - Most co-workers were great - Implementation timeline of products were fairly quick - Solution Engineering team was awesome!! Loved all the guys & their leaders. Probably my favorite part of the whole company.

Cons

- Products are not up to todays standards, if you're going feature-to-feature you lose the deal most of the time. For me, it was all about timing and getting the customer to close fast... this was my key to success. - The worst of the cons was horrible management, Director & above is what I'm referencing. They live out of reports rather than live in reality sadly. Although they were nice guys, truly they did not listen to us on what needed to improve. Unfortunately, I think some needed to be relieved of their duties to bring some fresh air into the organization(s). Most have been working at the company for years and are living a comfortable life & aren't being innovative because they feel safe. I lost deals due to folks being stubborn and thinking they knew better than me because I didn't have the same experience as them. I'm being vague intentionally, but there was lots of problems with Directors & above souring my deals. - Quota was unrealistic for what leads were coming through and where the product(s) were at in the market. Funny side not - when doing cold outreaches, you will have to explain that you're not a solar company but a tech company more than I would like to admit.

Pros

Amazing office space in Charlotte with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. There are plenty of social events and networking opportunities that help employees stay engaged and build relationships across different business units. The recent IT reorganization has created a unique opportunity to participate in system and process design initiatives. While this level of change and transformation may not appeal to everyone, it offers valuable experience for those who enjoy shaping new processes and driving organizational improvements. I am optimistic about the direction of the organization and confident in the vision and leadership of the new IT management team.

Cons

Career advancement opportunities can sometimes feel limited within a satellite office environment, and promotion paths are not always clearly defined. Employees seeking long-term growth may benefit from having proactive career development conversations with leadership. The recent IT reorganization has introduced a period of transition, resulting in some uncertainty and lower morale across parts of the organization. The department is currently in a rebuilding phase, and new employees should expect to contribute to the implementation of new processes, systems, and ways of working. Compensation appears to be somewhat below market rates for certain roles, which may be a consideration for candidates prioritizing salary growth.
