Cons
Everything, apart from the people that are facing the daily challenges with you. The negativity starts from the top with the President and it bleeds through the entire organization. Nepotism and favoritism runs rampant and is the standard for performance goals. Unfortunately, this company has an incredible product but with terrible leaders they will never be successful. The President thinks he his the reincarnation of Steve Jobs and wants to be like Apple so bad, the company is his own personal hobby. The abuse of power is sickening and everyone is too scared to confront the President on business issues, including myself. After working there for a week, I quickly realized I needed to leave and started looking for another job. I actually spent more time there building out my resume, researching opportunities and learning new skills instead of working. I witnessed a couple people insulted in public by the President and I also took some of those insults as well. Solatube is sitting on a gold mine but the product suffers due to the volatile and immature leadership by the President. I would love to buy a Solatube for my house but wont, simply out of protest and I tell everyone I know to do the same.
