Pros

Last week was my 18th anniversary, and I captured a photo of myself and 4 others that have worked together for over 15 years! What other organization can say that? We influence the culture making it a place we want to show up to and with people we want to show up for. We collectively work toward a common goal; to be the best in pharmacy recruitment. The organization has sound leadership with a strategic vision that steers us wisely. Soliant has offered a compensation structure where with the right input/hustle, you can live well.

Cons

Recruitment requires a diverse skillset. The staffing industry is high turnover. Account Executives are doing business development and specialized recruitment to engage competent candidates. Meeting the demands of Clients and Candidates is for the most competent in the profession. Also, the environment is an in-office position until certain metrics are met, but it is still 75% in-office. Consistently obtaining your daily/weekly activity metrics is expected.

Pros

Met some good friends and bonded over shared trauma

Cons

The salary is a misery, there are absolutely no incentives starting at 2% commission - for about a year, commission per month will be about $100 at the very best and yet they lie about first year OTE being about $15k. You’re also encouraged and expected to work over 40 hours a week even though there’s absolutely no incentives to do so and berated when you work what you should: The company has insanely high attrition and turnover rates. The majority of the company is under a year and actively trying to leave. One of their biggest problem is management; the majority of managers should not be in their positions. There’s a toxic culture of pettiness and arrogance. Do not expect to grow professionally at all-I was doing the exact same job as a manager who had been there for almost 10 years. Do not expect to feel supported or heard by any of the higher ups-they actively implements an alarming amount of changes without asking AEs first and then, when they don’t work, they make even more changes. Overall, if you can avoid working at this company, you should. It is a horrible place that preys on new graduates that have limited opportunities.
