Pros
I love that the work we’re doing benefits average people. I think our platform strategy is a game changer for government agencies and end users. I work with talented people and enjoy the flexibility and benefits. Management is approachable and responsive, and seems to care about retaining employees and providing opportunities to grow with the company. Culture is an emerging focus, still shifting and settling. It is fairly aspirational right now, but I do see time and resources directed toward developing a great company culture, so it's not just talk. I'd recommend the company to people with a moderate to high tolerance for change and an interest in growth.
Cons
It's an early stage startup; generally there's a lot of movement. I've experienced several big changes in team structure, project management approaches, and responsibilities. Bottlenecks happen, policies change, expectations aren't always clear. For the most part these seem like inevitable growing pains.
