They were very flexible with their hours. Great support from the team at the head office. Premium compensation.

Cons

I can honestly say there was no con for me to even consider. I would go back and work for these guys if I could.

Pros

Corporate leadership is relentlessly seeking to improve the company and genuinely empower its employees. Competitive pay, great benefits, frequent employee appreciation events. Diversified program portfolio with high job security (not a body shop). Large annual training budget that is not only available but encouraged. The company is filled with smart, hard-working people that are easy to work with. The programs and problem sets are interesting and challenging for the most part. Best subcontractor in the industry.

Cons

Limited opportunities for someone looking to work outside of Aurora, CO or for someone seeking to climb the corporate ladder (flat organization). Most jobs require TS/SCI, which is a barrier to entry if you don't already have one. Some of the programs in the portfolio are high stress with poor prime-to-customer relationships. Solidyn employees on this program, nevertheless, often stay there willingly for sometimes years at a time, and management will do what it can to transition people into different roles and programs as needed.

Pros

The owners and management had a good grip on what was going on within the contracted programs. They put forth a lot of effort to make sure their employees feel valued. The benefits are outstanding, continuing education and training was a huge bonus that many of the employees took advantage of, and they made sure to throw in fun events/activities throughout the year since so many of the employees worked on different programs and didn't get to see one another.

Cons

Being a small company, the opportunities for professional growth are very limited.
