Pros
They give you lots of company merch and you get a gift card to pay for your scrubs. oh also if you refer a friend or family member to work there and they stay over 120 days, you will get 500. but really, thats literally the only pro.
Cons
Oh where to start.... 1- They expect you to always be willing to travel to any of their 10 locations across CT. Doesn't matter if you signed up to work in west hartford - get ready to be told your going to work in enfield tmrw with a whole new crew of people youve never met! Oh and you wont be compensated for the extra mileage. 2- They create an evironment that is very pro tattling. They say they are all about teamwork, when really your only considered part of the team if your actively going to your manager / HR to make complaints about your coworkers over minor things like " talking to another employee too much". Really, they will write you up if you sit and talk to your coworkers when your work is done. 3- On the other hand , if your having difficulties with another coworker dont expect HR to do anything about it. 4- FAVORITISM. If your in with management, you'll get away with murder. If your not, they'll find things to write you up for , and they have a 4 strikes and your out policy. I have witnessed people do things repetitively, .like show up late multiple times a week or call out every other week and stay. Another person does that, gets fired. 5- Incredibly hard to get a raise. 6- Your expected to go to a monthly meeting at, i kid you not, 7:30 AM in west hartford. Also you have a monthly meeting for your department that is at 6:30 AM. 7-Your expected to work one saturday a month 8- In the employee handbook it says you cannot refuse overtime - yet they will go out of their way to make sure you never work over 40 hours unless they need you. if your reaching over 40 hours, they will send you home early. but the second they need you and its over time, dont you dare turn it down! 9- IF your an Doc or tech, your timed with every patient. In fact, everyone is timed! Receptionist are timed as well. They watch EVERYTHING you do on the computer. 10- Any employee who worked for a small private practice prior to coming to Solinsky is miserable. If your used to working in small doctors office, good luck. You'll hate this place. TLDR - DONT WORK HERE
