Pros

Fun and exciting environment. Perks such as free concert tickets. Tends to attract a lot of artsy/musical types so in general a fun group to work with. Pay is ok, on or slightly below market.

Cons

Depending on the division, can be challenging. Corporate office is in Montreal. Communication is not always great if you are not at corporate. Upward momentum in your career is limited if you don’t speak French as many meetings are only conducted in French which you may be left out of as a result. Many people at the corporate office don’t speak English which is limiting for the company as a whole. Benefits are standard but not great. The industry is currently suffering because of COVID.

Pros

Truly Interesting and unique AV integration projects to be involved with. Niche industry. The ops team were genuinely hard working and strove to put their best foot forward to be team players.

Cons

Frankly, the management and leadership was some of the least inspiring, overly micromanaging types of people I've ever come into contact with in my career. Years of horrendous corporate leadership compounded the culture of the whole business operation, (sales, ops, management, HR, leadership) into one of the poorest, low morale, soul crushing experiences I could imagine walking into or working in. Account managers aren't held accountable and the friction between sales and ops was the worst I've seen in the industry. Middle management can't tolerate being challenged, one iota. Fresh ideas or thinking outside the box are not welcomed and daring to do what's right by your fellow coworkers likely puts a target on you.
