Pros

Competent scientists and technical experts. Genuine desire to make improvements to enterprise systems (delivery is questionable). Good base salary if you can tolerate the BS. Even better if you get lucky with bonus.

Cons

Growing pains of small company going through transition; adequate systems are lacking. Commercial team and upper management turnover has caused a loss in historical continuity and realistic sales targets do not exist. Sales goals and territories/accounts are not equitably distributed. Goal post constantly shifting. Inadequate sales credit tracking and verification. Once-supportive culture has transitioned into corporate finger-pointing and lack of cooperation amongst managers and BDMs; favoritism is prevalent. Excessive micromanagement and constant administrative tasks. Obsession with EBITDA. Veiled smiles... Everyone is replaceable (except women, apparently).

Pros

-Great laboratory Equipment -Good office spaces -Some genuinely intelligent and kind people

Cons

-Too many managers -Too corporate feeling (Buzz words, HR safe language, fake smiles, fake laughter, not actually listening but pretending to, shifting blame to subordinates, micromanagement, nitpicking) -Lack of work "culture" -Lack of quick feedback or Turnaround on tasks (can take weeks to months to solve issues IF they get resolved at all) -"Nickle and Dime" for every request -Minimal room for career advancement (you stay at your station and MAYBE you get a title number change from a 1 to a 2 or 3 chemist
