Pros
- Friendly atmosphere with nice colleagues - Company really values equality and egalitarianism - Very nice guests who are usually very down-to-earth and fun to interact with - Reasonable salaries - Taking initiative is being rewarded - Very open to new ideas - Has some highly motivated sustainability staff. They are very inspiring through their genuine drive and passion - High management turnover (due to meddling from owners), leading to fast growth opportunities. - Senior and middle management are mostly highly qualified - The CFO seems to be very reasonable and smart, he has a positive influence on business practices by correcting the owners in certain cases
Cons
- Owners meddling too much with business management (micro-managing) - Owners often poorly informed and have a tendency towards favouritism, causing bad decision making and the loss of highly qualified staff who feel like they are not being taken seriously. - Eva really cares about people and planet, but has strange world views that make no logical sense. Has a tendency to believe conspiracy theories, anecdotal "evidence", to ignore real science, and to get involved with "spiritual" charlatans who charge copious amounts of money, thereby giving the impression of lacking common sense. - Sonu does not inherently seem to care about sustainability and people. He sometimes gives the impression of just being a rich kid doing everything for his own entertainment, to be seen as important among his wealthy "friends". - Money is spent in strange ways (based on owner intuition) and on unneccesary things, while shortages exist in other places. This can be upsetting for the staff. -Resort design is beautiful, but not durable (and therefore sustainable) at all. Often design wins over common sense, and leads to huge maintenance costs which could have been spent elsewhere
